Our second show of the Gossamer Glow Candlelit Series will be on December 1st at noon. A seasonal Christmas concert - not to be missed and one which will get you in a festive mood! All music has been specially arranged for the Trio combined with a captivating narrative of stories from the musicians’ past. The program will be full of music that evokes and reflects nostalgic memories - Christmas the way it used to be. All music by the Crimson Crescendo is personally hand crafted and this will be a unique Christmas concert. What a wonderful Christmas gift this would be for someone you love.
What to expect The lights will be way down low in the Theatre, and the concert will have an intimate and cozy setting. There are just 60 seats available for each concert and so we are expecting tickets to go fast. The Theatre is off North Bluff Road White Rock, (right next to the Centennial Arena) with ample parking. A favorite event of the community and our orchestra members, this year's concert headliner is Dee Daniels. Dee is a jazz vocalist with a unique sound, steeped in the art of storytelling through song. Performing a mix of standards, blues, gospel, and original compositions, all with interesting and unique arrangements, she transcends musical borders when she brings her jazz styling, infused with gospel and blues flavoring to the stage. Led by our Music Director, Paula DeWit, this year’s orchestra concert will feature the jazz vocal stylings of Ms. Daniels and a jazz trio alongside Christmas classics performed by the orchestra.
This season's concert will be at Peace Portal Alliance Church on November 29th at 7:30 and tickets are now on sale on our site!
